Gardening with Sallie

Join Horticultural Therapist Sallie Stutz for a virtual gardening activity! You will learn all about early spring blooms such as Lenten rose, Snowdrops, Hyacinths, and Forsythia. In celebration of March holidays and the spring equinox, we will look closely at some early spring plants that are coming into bloom.

We will talk about how they grow, how to enjoy them both outside and inside, and how to be a good plant observer! We will talk about their environments and how to care and enjoy them.

Materials needed:

Tray; early spring plants such as Snowdrops, Daffodils, Lenten Rose, Hyacinths; vase; clippers or scissors; small watering can or pitcher; saucer for under plant.
